Online Learning Resources

ACTFL is offering FREE MEMBERSHIP FOR A YEAR!   https://www.actfl.org/news/all/resources-response-covid-19

A note before you dive in:
There are a LOT of resources out there that vary wildly in quality and ease of use. We tried to focus on the tools most useful for language teachers, but we have not personally tried all of them. There is no need to reinvent your teaching methodology right now. Look at what you were planning to do in class and focus on your desired learning outcome. Can you still achieve that goal without changing anything? By changing a paper assignment to a digital one? By providing a video? By finding a new website? Only you can answer those questions.

Before starting anything new, go to the websites and apps that you already use. Many of them are offering free upgrades to versions with more features. Everything linked here is either free or has offered free membership.

Protip: YouTube videos can be embedded into Google Slides or PowerPoint which means they play without ads, comments, or related videos!
